A new start

The Literacy Centre offers a ‘new beginning’ for children struggling with literacy, sometimes due to specific learning difficulties or other barriers to
learning.

Intensive support is provided for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 children on a sessional basis in groups of three at the Centre which is located at Howard Primary School in Croydon.

Our specialist teachers work with children, parents and schools to ensure the best outcomes for children with literacy difficulties.

We have a proven track record of success with a focus on phonics,
reading, comprehension and spelling. Our intensive programme of support helps overcome barriers to learning and assists greater inclusion in the mainstream curriculum.
