The mental health and wellbeing of school staff and pupils is a key current focus on the educational and governance landscape. An effective Governing Board needs to understand its role and responsibilities in ensuring and promoting the wellbeing of its staff and pupils, as well as the questions it should be asking of its Senior Leadership Team.
This course is non-chargeable for those schools that have an annual Octavo Governance training contract.
The material covered in this session will assist Governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership) within the Governance Competency Framework.
