Overview

With the spotlight increasingly being shone on the impact that social media and online forums can have on our children and young people, it is important that Governors have an understanding, as strategic leaders, of the online world and the key challenges that need to be addressed and mitigated.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual Octavo Governance training contract.

Description

The material covered in this session will covers Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership) and 5 (Compliance) within the Governance Competency Framework.

Please note that if your school has not purchased a training package from Octavo Partnership Governor Services, there will be a charge of £107 (for an evening course) or £214 (for a day course).
When completing the user form please ensure you have added the name and position of the person who has authorised payment for the course (Chair of Governors/Principal/Headteacher). This is for invoicing purposes.
