This forum is for those in schools with oversight and responsibility for the achievement and development of disadvantaged pupils; it will enable you to learn from best practice, share and explore ideas and develop your own expertise. You will be able to explore the possibilities and the requirements of the funding grant and gain support in tailoring your own provision when considering impact and value for money.
You will be also be able to consider different approaches to removing the differences in performance and gain insight into performance measures.
There are three scheduled sessions as part of this offer. Content will be tailored to respond to the needs of participants but will give consideration to national requirements and how to ensure that you are responding in the best way possible. You will have the opportunity to network with colleagues and consider specific aspects of your brief as well as look at innovative approaches and practical, low or no cost initiatives that have effect.
There will also be an opportunity to consider ‘soft’ aspects of the overall performance of disadvantaged pupils with consideration of how to show impact in these areas.
