Overview

The Government will make the teaching of RSE (secondary) and Relationships Education (primary) compulsory from September 2020 onwards. As strategic leaders, Governors need to be aware of the mandatory requirements that must be complied with and the Board’s role and responsibilities.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual Octavo Governance training contract.

Description

The material covered in this session will cover Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership) and 5 (Compliance) within the Governance Competency Framework.

Please note that if your school has not purchased a training package from Octavo Partnership Governor Services, there will be a charge of £107 (for an evening course) or £214 (for a day course).
When completing the user form please ensure you have added the name and position of the person who has authorised payment for the course (Chair of Governors/Principal/Headteacher). This is for invoicing purposes.
