Understanding Data for Clerks - Bromley Venue | Octavo Partnership

Course Date

31 Jan 2019 19:00 – 21:00

Overview

Data plays a key part in how the Head reports to Governors and clerks need to understand the terminology being used in order to present effective minutes that clearly show the challenge presented by Governors.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual Octavo Governance training contract.

Description

During this development session, Clerks will have the opportunity to learn more about
•The new assessment system, Analyse School Performance Service (which has replaced RAISEonline);
•Understanding other sources of data that Governors could be using to consider pupil progress and attainment; and
•Consider Assessment without levels and questions that governors should be asking of their SLT.

The session will also provide an opportunity for Clerks to ask the facilitator, an experienced School Improvement Adviser, any specific questions they may have on understanding data.
