Voluntary aided, foundation and academy schools are their own Admission Authority, and therefore it is the Governing Boards of these schools that have the responsibility of ensuring that the admission policy is compliant with the statutory requirements of the 2014 Schools Admissions Code.
This session is free for all schools who have purchased a current annual Governance contract with Octavo Governance.
The material covering in this briefing session, led by an experienced admissions facilitator, will assist Governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 5 (Compliance) within the Governance Competency Framework.
