What does having a 'broad and balanced curriculum' at primary level mean? - Bromley | Octavo Partnership

Course Date

30 Jan 2020 19:00 – 21:00

Overview

The introduction of Ofsted’s new Education Inspection Framework from September 2019 onwards, places a significant spotlight on the provision of a broad and balanced curriculum to a school’s pupils and how effectively this meets the 3i’s of the Inspection Framework.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual training contract with Octavo Governance.

Description

This development session, led by an experienced School Improvement Advisor, will assist Governors in looking objectively at their school to consider how effectively their current curriculum serves its young people in providing a broad and balanced education that is not just English and mathematics focused.
