"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit."
"Providing innovation, excellence and expertise to schools and academies across London and the South East."

The following changes to mark schemes for KS1 and KS2 have been announced.
STA will accept reversed punctuation marks, for example, commas and semi-colons presented backwards.
In Paper 2, pupils will now be awarded 1 mark for a partially correct method for working mark questions. STA will provide specific guidance, with examples, in the mark scheme to support teachers to mark the tests.
Teachers should double check the marking principles (in the mark schemes) when pupils write more than the expected number of words in ‘find and copy’ questions.
For more information please see this meeting organised for 26th March.
