Pay Matters! – New Support Staff Pay Scales

New support staff pay scales will apply from April 2019.

There have been significant changes to the spinal points, and all staff will need to be assimilated to a new spinal point.  It means that everyone’s spinal point will be going down, but hopefully that will not be too much of a worry as everyone’s pay will be going up by at least 2%!

We suggest you talk to your HR provider about how to assimilate staff to the new points on the Pay Scale.

Don’t forget that for staff who work variable hours, payslips must now show the number of variable hours that are worked each month, and the total pay associated with them.
