Safeguarding forum for DSLs in schools on 22nd June 2023

The focus will be on supporting those in need. Safeguarding Leads will find out about national and local developments, hear from external agencies and learn from others who carry out this role.

Speakers include:

• Darren Chisholm – from Education Support, a UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff

• Gareth Denton, Head of Provision at Saffron Valley Collegiate

• Bernice Dickenson, Fostering Recruitment Officer from Croydon Council

And includes an overview of the results from the Croydon-wide report from the recent Health and Wellbeing Survey, highlighting areas related to safeguarding and setting out our next steps.
