An informal look at all aspects of data protection in schools

Description

The session will cover the data protection legislation itself, and what it means when applied to the school environment. It will help key school staff to understand the impact of data protection on their role in school, focusing on key areas such as lawful bases, data breaches, cyber-threats, consent, SARs, agreements with third party processors, and data protection impact assessments. There will be interactive elements and opportunities for questions.
