Overview

A key focus of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework is the quality of the curriculum provided by the school to its pupils, ensuring that it is broad and balanced and complies effectively with the 3i’s of the Inspection Framework.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual training contract with Octavo Governance.

Description

This development session, led by an experienced school practioner, will assist Trustees and Governors in looking objectively at their school to consider how effectively their current curriculum serves its young people in providing a broad and balanced education.

The material covered in this briefing session will assist Governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership).

Those delegates who have booked a place by 5pm on the day before the session will receive, via an email, a Microsoft Teams meeting link which will be needed to join the session. To ensure the security of the virtual meeting, Governors who have not booked and not been sent the link will not be allowed to join the training session.

For those Governors whose schools have purchased a training contract with Octavo Governance, attendance at these sessions will be at no additional charge; Governors whose school have not purchased an Octavo Governance training contract are warmly welcome to attend our virtual sessions for a fee of £115 plus VAT per delegate per session
