Description

Each of the sessions will cover relevant policy and qualification updates and assessment changes affecting English or Maths respectively. In addition, each session will have a specific focus on areas of leadership, pedagogy or independent learning.

These meetings will offer schools the opportunity to take part in an initiative to develop and promote teacher confidence in the delivery essential skills of English and Mathematics. This is intended to support teachers within these two vital subject areas as well as embed these skills across the curriculum.

3:30 – 4:15pm – Exploration of key theme (programme outline below)
4:15 – 4:30pm – Opportunities for networking
4:30 – 5:00pm - Practical strategies to take back to the classroom
5:00 – 5:30pm – Collaboration/ sharing of excellent practice
