Overview

This session will encourage Governors to examine where their school currently sits within the Ofsted criteria and consider how to move forward to Outstanding.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools within the Governor Services SLA.

Description

The evening, led by an experienced School Improvement Advisor will assist Governors to look objectively at their school to determine areas that may need support to drive school improvement and positively affect the outcomes for the young people it serves.

Please bring a copy of your school’s ISDR and School Improvement plan with you.

The material covered in this briefing session will assist governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership) and 6 (Evaluation).

Please note that if your school has not purchased a training package from Octavo Partnership Governor Services, there will be a charge of £104 (for an evening course) or £208 (for a day course).
On completion of the User form please ensure you have added the name and position of the person who has authorised payment for the course (Chair of Governors/Principal/Headteacher). This is for invoicing purposes.
