Overview

With government rhetoric focusing clearly on collaborative, school led working, achieved most effectively through a MAT framework, strategic school leaders are considering their school structure options – existing Stand-Alone academies are considering whether to move towards formal collaboration with other academies whilst current maintained schools are reviewing their academisation options.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools that have a Governor Services contract.

Description

The material covered in this training session will assist governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership), Key Competency 3 (People) and Key Competency 4 (Structures) within the Governor Competency Framework.
