Overview

This course will provide teachers with advice and support regarding:
- statutory requirements regarding end of KS2 assessment, including teacher assessment and preparation for, and administration of, the end of KS2 tests
- subject specific issues in English and mathematics in Year 6

Description

Delegates will be provided with:
- a briefing about the statutory requirements for end of KS2 assessment and reporting, including an update on the changes in 2015-16
- guidance on subject specific issues in English and mathematics in Year 6
- support for effective teacher assessment
- information about the Year 6 writing moderation process
- about preparing for and administering end of KS2 tests
- the opportunity to hear effective practitioners speak about their approaches to teaching in Year 6

This course will be run again in Spring 2017.
