Overview

This course will provide teachers with advice and support regarding:
- statutory requirements regarding end of KS1 assessment, including teacher assessment and preparation for, and administration of, the end of KS1 tests
- subject specific issues in English and mathematics in Year 2

Description

Delegates will be provided with:
- a briefing about the statutory requirements for end of KS1 assessment and reporting, including an update on the changes in 2015-16
- guidance on subject specific issues in English and mathematics in Year 2
- support for effective teacher assessment
- information about the Year2 moderation process
- about preparing for and administering end of KS1 tests

Teachers who attended the New to Year 2 training in the Autumn term should not book onto this course as it is a repeat.
