The purpose of this session to develop understanding and knowledge of assessment tools for pupils working below the level of the national curriculum including those not yet engaged in subject specific learning.
This course aims to:•clarify statutory requirements in relation to assessing pupils who are working below national curriculum levels and not engaged in subject specific learning•provide an introduction to the engagement model•provide an introduction to the Croydon ‘Bridging the gap’ materials and how to use these to inform planning
