This remote training, is essential for any teacher new to teaching Year 2, or returning to teach in Year 2.
The course will provide delegates with:•an understanding of the statutory requirements for assessing pupil’s attainment in the core subjects at the end of KS1•support in developing Y2 subject knowledge in English and mathematics
Led by the KS1 moderation manager and lead moderators for KS1, this course will thoroughly unpick the requirements for the teacher assessment of reading, writing and maths as well as how to prepare pupils for reading, GPS and maths SATs.
As well as online sessions, this course will include a pre-task, guided study and a gap task which all delegates will be required to complete. The deadline for booking a place on this course is 5.11.20. The pre-course task will be sent to delegates at least 3 working days before the course.
