Overview

This interactive session will support both new and existing SEN governors in their strategic role as well as other school governors with an interest in SEND

This course is non-chargeable for those schools within the Governor Services contract.

Description

The session will:
•Provide an overview of the Governing Board’s statutory duties in relation to SEND Provision.
•Ensure a greater understanding of the role of the SEND Governor in meeting these statutory duties.
•Highlight suggested activities and best practice to fulfil these responsibilities.

Please note that if your school has not purchased a training package from Octavo Partnership Governor Services, there will be a charge of £104 (for an evening course) or £208 (for a day course).
On completion of the User form please ensure you have added the name and position of the person who has authorised payment for the course (Chair of Governors/Principal/Headteacher). This is for invoicing purposes.
