This course is designed to prepare attendees for leading a SEND review using the WSS SEND Review Guide.
The SEND Reviewer training will take attendees through the stages needed to prepare for leading a SEND review using the WSS SEND Review Guide.
The SEND Review Guide was created with the purpose of empowering schools to improve their SEND provision. The review guide outlines a step-by-step audit process, including examples of good practice, guidance on how to carry out a review of SEND provision and simple self-evaluation templates.
The guide helps schools to identify areas for improvement within their SEND provision; equip the school to review and create improvement plans for SEND provision and help embed a focus on SEND into normal school improvement practices.
Attendees will work with the trainer to go through the guide and discuss how the review can benefit an individual school and how it can be adopted to be used in school to school support.
Please note this course is INVITATION ONLY. The course will take place via Zoom and delegates will receive an email invitation 24 hours prior to the course taking place. Please check and ensure that your email address is correct.
