Overview

Nurture groups are an effective and proven intervention to meet the needs of learners with social, mental and emotional health needs. Octavo have commissioned the Nurture Group Network to run Nurture Group Training. This course will be suitable for anyone running or establishing nurture provision in their school and is the recognised and accredited training for nurture practitioners. The course offers an excellent introduction to the world of nurturing and
explains the psychology behind nurture, as well as offering practical advice for how it works in practice.

Upon successful submission of the assignment you will receive an accreditation certificate. All materials will be provided by the trainer at the venue on the day of training. Learners can complete an assignment for submission to NGN for a certificate or if a graduate, 30 credits towards a MA from Edge Hill University.

The course cost includes all course materials, a copy of The Boxall Profile Handbook, Beyond the Boxall Profile and support in completing an assignment.
