One of the three core strategic functions that must be effectively discharged by Governing Boards is overseeing the financial performance of the school and ensuring that its money is well spent

Achieving value for money and identifying financial efficiencies are key current issues facing Governing Boards in light of the funding pressures faced by all schools.

Description

The material covered in this session will assist governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 2 (Accountability) within the Governor Competency Framework.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools within the Governor Services contract. For schools not in the Governor Services contract, the cost of the training session is £95 for schools in the CHTA and £104 for schools not in the CHTA.
