Overview

The Early Years termly meetings provide an opportunity for EYFS leaders and practitioners to network, share and swap ideas in the Early Years.

Description

Each meeting has a theme to help aid the session and offers the opportunity for practitioners to be involved in discussions around topics and issues within early childhood education and research.

Agenda items will be set prior to each meeting and will focus on current and local initiatives.

This series of network meetings aims to:

• Share best practice and extend networks
• Keep practitioners up to date with the latest developments in the EYFS and how to implement changes
• Support EYFS Leaders in monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality of provision
• Help EYFS leaders to support practitioners in all aspects of provision and practice
• Enhance confidence in analysing data, identifying trends and tracking progress of children across the EYFS
• Understand the expectations of Ofsted
