Overview

This course will provide governors with a clear understanding of the importance of self-evaluating the effectiveness of the Governing Body and the impact they have on school improvement.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools within the Governor Services contract.

Look at the role self-evaluation plays in developing an effective Governing Body and school improvement.
Explore the Governing Body Self-Evaluation Tool and how you can take this back to your Governing Body to use.

Please note that if your school has not purchased a training package from Octavo Partnership Governor Services, there will be a charge of £104 (for an evening course) or £208 (for a day course).
On completion of the User form please ensure you have added the name and position of the person who has authorised payment for the course (Chair of Governors/Principal/Headteacher). This is for invoicing purposes.
