Overview

This termly briefing session is open to all Local Authority Governors and Link Governors, regardless of whether their school has purchased an annual Governance contract with Octavo Governor Services – no charge will be incurred by the school for your attendance.

Description

All LA Governors and Link Governors are invited to this termly meeting to be informed of current Bromley Local Authority education initiatives and plans. Specifically, delegates will:

- Hear from the Portfolio Holder for Education;
- Participate in a training & development session, linked to current issues on the governance and education landscape; and
- Network with other Bromley Governors and share best practice.

This termly briefing session provides Governors with the opportunity to hear directly from the LA on the key issues that are currently on the educational/governance landscape, both nationally and within the Borough.

If you do not have log in details to book a place on a course, please complete the user form (under documents) and email it to Governorservices@octavopartnership.org
Please note that if your school has not purchased a training package from Octavo Partnership Governor Services, there will be a charge of £104 (for an evening course) or £208 (for a day course).
When completing the user form, please ensure you have added the name and position of the person who has authorised payment for the course (Chair of Governors/Principal/Headteacher). This is for invoicing purposes.
