Overview

As part of their strategic role, governors may be required to sit on governor panels that consider, amongst other issues, pupil exclusions.

In order to ensure that panel participants make an effective, strategic contribution to the decision making when sitting on a panel, it is important that governors have attended up to date training.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools within the Governor Services SLA.

Description

The material covered in this training session will assist governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership) and Key Competency 5 (Compliance) within the Governor Competency Framework.

This interactive training session will be facilitated by Sonia Malik and Michelle Graydon
