Overview

This briefing gives provides an opportunity to update SENCOs on national and local policy and initiatives to support improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
It will include information and awareness raising of the range of agencies and support which can be accessed to support a diverse range of needs.

•To enable participants to identify training and development needs
•To provide opportunities to share approaches , good practice and resources
•To provide opportunities to maintain up to date knowledge of current national and local issues and developments and consider the implications for schools.
